Collagen Induction Treatments using the InnoPen™, slows down the skin’s aging process and reverse years of sun damage and acne scarring. InnoPen™ is made in the USA at Clinical Resolution Lab in Brea, CA.

InnoPen™ micro-needling therapy system is a non-ablative, non-surgical procedure that facilitates the preservation of the top layer of skin while inducing the body to produce collagen and elastin.

Triggers the natural process of collagen and elastin repair and increases cellular functionality.

  • Benefits?

Intensifies transdermal delivery of active ingredients in topical preparation

    •  Stimulates circulation and collagen production
    •  Cost effective compared to other resurfacing procedures
    •  Can be performed on all skin types, including ethnic skin
    •  It can be used on all areas of the scalp, face, body including fragile skin like around eyes, mouth and neck
    •  Improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and pore size
    •  Stimulates tissue regeneration by increasing cellular function
    •  Acne scars can be improved as new collagen fibers elevate the depressed scar tissue with the periphery skin
  • Will it hurt?

You’ll experience minimal discomfort, prior to the treatment, a numbing cream (Lidocaine) is applied to minimize any painful sensations.

  • How long will the treatment take?

    Allow 75 minutes.

  • Downtime?

The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades significantly within 2 hours from redness to pinkish that may last for 12 to 48 hours.

  • Risk of post-procedure infections?

Since the tiny micro channels close within one hour, and provided the procedure is done under sanitary conditions, post-op infections are extremely unlikely.

  • How many treatments before I notice a difference?

There are several factors that determine the answer to this question. A visible improvement in the overall texture and tone of your skin is usually noticeable within a week after one treatment.

A course of 4 to 8 treatments is usually required to achieve optimal results.

  • What is the frequency of the treatment plan?

Depending on your skin, it can be between 4 - 6 weeks.

  • I use dermal fillers and botox can I get micro needling?

Yes. That’s the short answer. The long answer is, talk to your doctor because the recommendations on how long to wait until doing a micro needling treatment vary from 6 months to 6 weeks after a dermal filler injection and 4 months to 4 weeks after Botox. The dependencies are your age, health, quality and volume of the injected product and your skin’s natural capacity to heal.

  • Are there any other costs?

Yes and no depending on your daily skincare practice. Good daily care products including a cleanser, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen will cost between $200 - $400 for a 3-4 month supply. If you already are using quality skincare products, then this is not an additional charge.

  • Cost?

$300 per treatment. This compares favorably to the average Seattle cost of laser resurfacing treatments of $2500 and your skin is getting more of an overall benefit.

  • Conditions that prohibit the application of micro needling

    •  The use of Accutane (isotretinoin) within the last six months
    •  Open wounds, cuts or abrasions on the skin
    •  Radiation treatments to the skin within the last year
    •  Any kind of current skin infection, such as, herpes simplex in the area to be treated
    •  Are pregnant or breast feeding
    •  Have any history of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing
    •  HIV/AIDs or other immunosuppression disease
    •  Cardio Abnormalities
    •  Using anticoagulant medications
  • Anything else I should know before making a decision about trying micro needling?

    •  Immediately post treatment no makeup should be applied so plan on doing this when that is not a factor.
    •  Within a week following your micro needling procedure, you will notice skin dryness and flaking.
    •  No vigorous exercising or activity for at least 48 hours following the treatment is recommended.
    •  Avoid steam baths, saunas, or swimming pools for at least 48 hours following the treatment.
    •  Edema (swelling), and allergic reactions are also possible short term side effects.
